Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in with Google, our authentication provider supplies identifiers such as your name and email address. SAT Owl does not receive your Google password.

Profile and planning information. We store information you provide during onboarding or in your profile, including grade, current section scores, target score, planned SAT date, and study-plan changes.

Learning activity. We store answers, correctness, time spent, practice-test results, review-log status, vocabulary progress, bookmarks, checklist completion, streaks, and related performance statistics.

Feedback and technical information. We store feedback you submit, the page from which it was sent, and basic service logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. Our providers may process cookies, device information, IP addresses, and similar technical data under their own policies.

We use information to operate accounts, personalize study plans, calculate progress and insights, restore activity across devices, provide support, prevent abuse, improve SAT Owl, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

SAT Owl relies on service providers that process data on our behalf, including Clerk for authentication, Google for Google sign-in, Vercel for hosting, and Neon for database hosting. Opening an external tool such as Desmos takes you to that provider, whose privacy policy then applies.

We retain account and learning data while an account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. No online system is completely secure, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your SAT Owl account data by emailing hello@satowl.xyz from the account email. We may need to verify the request before acting.

SAT Owl is intended for students age 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create or use an account. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Students who are minors should use SAT Owl with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material revisions will be identified by a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to hello@satowl.xyz.
